Restructing Lotion is the rebuilding phase of the pH-C5 system in ampoules: amino acids and mineral salts applied to freshly washed hair, strand by strand, and left in. It is meant for dry and chemically treated hair, especially after colouring. Sold while stock lasts — Silky is discontinuing the pH-C5 line, and Actival takes over its role in our treatments.

When it is not the right choice
Not for the scalp or oily roots — apply to lengths only. For badly damaged hair ask for advice in the salon first (Hair Filler or Total Repair treatment).
How to use
- 1Wash with a mild shampoo (e.g. Conditioning Bath / Treat Shampoo) and towel-dry.
- 2Apply the contents of one ampoule to damp lengths and ends, strand by strand, and comb through with a wide-tooth comb.
- 3Do not rinse. Optionally wrap the hair in a warm towel for 10 minutes so the lotion bonds better.
- 4Dry and style as usual.
Rhythm One ampoule per wash as a course of 10; best in the weeks after colouring.
How it works
The lotion deposits amino acids and mineral salts into the open, porous fibre — which is why it goes on right after washing while the cuticle is still raised. Gentle warmth (a towel) helps the deposit bond, and the result is hair that combs more easily, shines more and breaks less.
Honestly: the effect is conditioning and washes out gradually, so it is renewed by repeating. It does not permanently change the hair structure.
Tips from the salon
- Apply strand by strand — lotion poured over the head at once does not reach every hair.
- Do not use a conditioner before the lotion; it would close the cuticle and the lotion would not get in.
- Pair it with Intensive Mask for softness — the lotion gives strength, the mask gives softness.

Do I rinse the lotion out?
No. It goes on washed, towel-dried hair and stays in; after that you simply dry and style.
How long does one box last?
Ten ampoules = ten washes. At two washes a week that is roughly five weeks of care.
What when it is gone?
Silky is discontinuing the pH-C5 line. Actival (ampoules for dry, brittle hair) has the same role in our care and is always available.
