Valid for 12 months, in every salon, for every service and product

The Studio Marcela gift voucher (the Voucher) is issued by one of the following companies, which is printed on the Voucher as the issuer and is liable for the obligation under it:

A Voucher bought in a salon is issued by the company that salon belongs to. A Voucher paid by bank transfer is issued by the company whose account received the payment, as named in the offer the payment was based on. A Voucher bought in the web shop is issued by STUDIO MARCELA d.o.o. The Voucher is valid in all Studio Marcela salons, regardless of which company issued it, for all services and products in the salon's current offer. The list of salons is published on studiomarcela.hr. The Voucher cannot be used for tips.
The Voucher is a unique code issued as a QR code and a text code. It may be presented printed on paper, on a phone screen or loaded onto a Studio Marcela loyalty card; all forms have the same effect. The balance, expiry date and issuer can be checked at studiomarcela.hr/poklon-bon by entering the code or scanning the QR code.
The Voucher carries the amount in euros printed on it. It may be used at once or in several visits; the unused remainder stays on the Voucher until it expires. If the price of the service or product exceeds the remaining value, the customer pays the difference by another means of payment. The Voucher cannot be exchanged for cash and no remainder is paid out in money.
When the Voucher is used, the salon issues a regular invoice for the service or product; the Voucher appears on that invoice as the means of payment. On purchase, a confirmation of purchase is issued, which is not an invoice: the Voucher is a multi-purpose voucher (Article 11.c of the Croatian VAT Act), so VAT is charged when the Voucher is used.
The Voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase; the expiry date is printed on it. An expired Voucher may, at the holder's request, be reactivated within 6 months after expiry, in any salon or by e-mail; a reactivated Voucher is valid for a further 3 months. After the reactivation period the Voucher and any unused remainder permanently cease to be valid.
The Voucher is a bearer instrument: whoever presents it may use it. Keep it like cash. Lost or stolen Vouchers are not replaced. If the buyer's e-mail address was recorded at purchase, the buyer may ask for the Voucher to be blocked and a replacement issued for the unused amount at the time of blocking.
A buyer who bought the Voucher at a distance — by bank transfer based on an offer sent by e-mail, or in the web shop — may withdraw from the purchase without giving a reason within 14 days of purchase, provided the Voucher has not been used even in part. The withdrawal notice is sent to info@studiomarcela.hr; the issuer refunds the amount to the account it was paid from within 14 days of receiving the notice. Vouchers bought in a salon carry no right of withdrawal; a refund is possible only exceptionally, at the issuer's discretion, to the buyer's bank account.
A complaint about a service or product paid with the Voucher is made to the salon that provided it; a complaint about the Voucher itself (validity, balance, expiry) is made to the issuer. Complaints may be made in writing in the salon, by post to the issuer's address or by e-mail to info@studiomarcela.hr; a reply is given within 15 days of receipt, in accordance with the Croatian Consumer Protection Act.
The issuer processes the buyer's personal data (name, e-mail address, message and recipient's name, if given) to issue and deliver the Voucher, notify of approaching expiry, block and replace the Voucher and meet legal obligations. Data is kept for the period prescribed for accounting records. The privacy policy is published at studiomarcela.hr/pravila-privatnosti.
The issuers may change these Terms by publishing them on studiomarcela.hr; Vouchers bought before a change remain subject to the terms in force at the time of purchase, unless the new terms are more favourable to the holder.
