This shiny styler is ideal for tousled textures, separated strands, and a wet effect. Although called a wax, its water-based formula contains no actual wax or oils. Because of this, it does not make your hair greasy and washes out easily with a regular shampoo without leaving residue.

When it is not the right choice
Not for a stiff, humidity-resistant hold (in that case, choose extreme-hold or mega-hold) or a matte finish (choose opaque-styler).
How to use
- 11. Take a pea-sized amount, warm it up, and work it between your palms.
- 22. Apply to dry or almost dry hair, focusing on selected strands or the whole style.
- 33. Shape as desired; the style remains pliable and can be reshaped throughout the day.
- 44. The next morning, revive your style with damp palms instead of applying more product.
How it works
The secret of this pomade lies in a polymer that creates a shiny, sticky-pliable film typical of wet-look styles. Unlike hairspray and gel, which build a dry and brittle network, this product creates a viscoelastic film similar to thick honey. It holds the strand in place but always remains pliable and remodelable under your fingers.
The shine comes from a smooth, watery film that neatly reflects light, creating the optical illusion of wet hair without water. Thanks to emulsifiers, the formula is completely water-soluble. This is strictly a cosmetic styling product that does not provide lasting care, and its effect lasts until the first wash.
Tips from the salon
- Start with a pea-sized amount; excess product will collapse root volume and cannot be removed without washing.
- For separated ends, use only the residue from your palms and run it through the very tips.
- For a perfect look, combine Opaque Styler for root volume and Hi Gloss Wax on the ends.
