That is the whole price: it includes genuine Slavic hair, the fitting, cutting-in and blending with your own hair. You pay only for the strands you really need — for some a light volume fill of 20 strands on each side is enough (about €200), others want a full head. Any length up to 60 cm — the same price per strand. No surcharges, no surprises on the bill.
You don't need to know anything about strands and grams — just tell us the hair you want, and we set the strand count and the exact price together at the free consultation. The looks and prices below are examples: how many strands are usually needed and roughly what that costs.

Natural shades or platinum blonde?
Almost every client — from dark to blonde — is in the Natural shades column: those are the shades of our palette. Platinum blonde is specially lightened hair toned to your wish, for very light blondes (keratin only). We can tell at the consultation straight away.
What is a move-up?
Your hair grows, so after roughly 3 months (2 with tape-ins) the bonds have moved away from the scalp. At a move-up we remove the same hair, put a fresh keratin bond on every strand (fresh tabs for tape-ins), re-fit it close to the root and trim it in — 2 to 3 hours of work, €3 per strand. You keep the hair you paid for, which is why a move-up costs less than the first fitting; with proper care the same hair lasts 9–12 months across 2–3 move-ups.
The table is an example — prices are based on the average strand count for each look, and the bill is always simple: number of strands × €5 (€6 platinum blonde, €8 per tape). How many you really need, and the exact price, we confirm at the free consultation before we start anything — no surprises on the bill. All prices include VAT.

Marcela Hair is our own line of hair. We hand-pick every bundle and wash-and-heat test it before fitting — only hair that passes every check reaches you. We guarantee the quality.
How it works
- Consultation (15 min). We get to know your hair and your wishes, agree the length, density and system (keratin or tape). The shade is matched live from the Marcela palette — feel the hair yourself, and where needed we blend several shades for a completely natural transition. You get an exact price, no surprises.
- Your shade. The most popular shades are waiting in stock, so the fitting can often be scheduled within days; rarer shades are ordered specially for you. Every bundle passes our quality control before fitting.
- Fitting (1–2.5 h). Strand by strand, including cutting-in and blending with your own hair — you leave with a finished hairstyle. A few days later we invite you to a short tension check.
- Move-up roughly every 3 months. The same hair is removed, refreshed and re-fitted close to the root. With proper care it lasts 9–12 months.
Care at home
Marcela Hair is cared for just like your own — wash it, blow-dry it and style it the way you're used to. At the consultation you receive our short guide with a few smart habits that extend the hair's lifespan. We recommend the Marcela Extensions Care set (sulphate-free shampoo, a light lengths conditioner and heat protection — €55), but it is a recommendation, not a condition: your own sulphate-free products are fine too.
What if you are not happy?
The Marcela standard applies: we are only done when you are happy, and corrections are free. Longevity also depends on home care — which is why we agree the routine at the consultation.

How much do extensions cost?

Will extensions damage my hair?
Not when fitted and removed professionally. Keratin micro-bonds are removed with a dedicated softener without pulling, and the tension check a few days after fitting plus regular move-ups keep the bonds tidy as your hair grows.
Can I wear a ponytail or a bun?
Yes. The bonds sit away from the edges — parting, temples and nape — so they stay hidden in a high ponytail or a bun. For the first day or two after the fitting wear your hair down while the bonds fully set.
How long do they last?
With proper care, 9–12 months of wear across 2–3 move-ups — the same hair is removed, refreshed and re-fitted close to the root. Cheap hair rarely survives even the first move-up.
Can I colour or lighten them?
The hair is 100% natural, so blow-drying and flat irons are perfectly fine with heat protection, and toning darker is happily done in the salon. We don't recommend lightening — bleach dries out and damages even the finest hair. If you decide to go lighter, the smarter route is to remove the extensions, lighten your own hair and fit a set in the new, lighter shade.
Can I swim in the sea or a pool?
Of course — summer with long hair is the best part. Salt and chlorine dry hair out, so the secret to a long lifespan is care: rinse with fresh water after swimming and apply conditioner to the lengths. That keeps the hair soft and glossy all season.
Do I have to buy your care set?
No. We recommend the Marcela Extensions Care set because we put it together for extensions, but your own sulphate-free shampoo and lengths conditioner are fine too.
How far in advance should I book?
We keep the most popular shades in stock, so the fitting can often be scheduled within days. Rarer shades are ordered specially for you and usually arrive within a week. For a fixed date (wedding, special event) get in touch a week or two ahead.
What if I am not happy?
The Marcela standard applies — corrections are free.
Where is the fitting done?
Fitting and move-ups are done by our specialised team at the Importanne Galleria salon (Iblerov trg 10, city centre). The consultation and shade matching are available in any of our Zagreb salons.
